BC Bioenergy Network (BCBN) invites you to attend the April West Coast Bioenergy Guild with Special Guest: Oshada Mendis, Deputy Director, Clean Fuels Portfolio, Natural Resources Canada. Oshada will be presenting about Bioenergy Development Opportunities in Canada and the IEA Roadmap ‘Net Zero Emissions by 2050’.

The IEA Roadmap ‘Net Zero Emissions by 2050’ recognises bioenergy as a substantial part of total energy supply in 2050, and playing a significant role to reach carbon neutrality of the global energy system. This presentation will explore the role of bioenergy in Canada’s energy economy as well as opportunities for scale-up and deployment of clean fuel technologies looking forward to 2050.
