Prof. Anthony Lau visited Chinese member Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion

On August 3rd, C-CBC member Prof. Anthony Lau visited Prof. Xiuli Yin at the Chinese partner institute - Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The professors have been jointly awarded funding from Guangdong Province under its Innovation Strategic Program on International Cooperation in Science and Technology in 2018. The title of the project is “Research on thermochemical conversion mechanism of solid and liquid wastes from pulp and paper industry". During this visit, Prof. Lau and Prof. Yin discussed the progress of the project, learned about the new research work and achievements from each institution, and formulated plans for future collaborations. Prof. Lau also visited Prof. Yin's laboratory and had a seminar with a number of researchers.
